Project Summary

Background

Working on behalf of Scottish construction company, Clermont for a private housing development in Dalkieth, Scotland, Quartzelec were contracted as the projects ICP for the 40 newly built properties.

The Project

Quartzelec were responsible for the design and installation of the contestable electrical connection, based upon Scottish Power Energy Network’s (SPEN) design requirements. The detailed scope included:

• Wayleaves (excluding Third Party Negotiations)
• Co-ordinate with SPEN for POC energisation.
• Waveform LV Mains cabling
• Service cabling to all properties
• Jointing Works
• Single phase service cut outs
• Arrange and manage test and commissioning of system witnessed by SPEN
• MPAN supply
