Project Summary

Background

CCG, one of Scotland’s largest privately owned construction and manufacturing companies, working on behalf of DTA Architects for the construction of 32 new flats for Clyde Valley Housing Association. Quartzelec was employed by CCG as the project’s ICP for the new development. 

The Project

Quartzelec’s responsibility was for the design and installation of a new LV network to supply the 32 off new flats. As well, we co-ordinated all associated off-site civils works, including; excavations of public footpath and main road. Public access was maintained at all times with traffic management secured. The detailed scope included:

• Coordinate jointing works
• Supply and install 200m LV waveform cable on public highway(within tight timeframe)
• Testing of new installation
• Gaining authorisation and maintaining site temporary supply
• MPAN Supply
