In an extraordinary achievement, Quartzelec apprentice Jamie Hurst, third year apprentice from Rugby,  has been awarded the prestigious ‘Apprentice of the Year’ title by Midland Group Training Services (MGTS) for a second year, highlighting Jamie’s exceptional dedication, skill development, and innovative contributions throughout his apprenticeship journey.

Jamie has consistently demonstrated excellence in both technical aptitude and leadership qualities and over the past year, Jamie has earned widespread recognition from colleagues and mentors alike.

“Winning this award again is an incredible honour,” Jamie said “It’s a reflection of the support I’ve received from my mentors, my peers, my Quartzelec colleagues and the training team at MGTS. I am deeply grateful for this recognition.”

The Apprentice of the Year award celebrates individuals who embody excellence in vocational training and serve as an inspiration for future generations of apprentices. This year, Jamie stood out among hundreds of talented candidates for his innovative problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous learning.
