As part of the company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and local community initiatives which for this financial year included the UK nationwide charity – The Trussell Trust, it’s fantastic to see Quartzelec employees coming together to push further to help provide emergency food for local people locked in poverty.  

During the build up to Christmas 2021, a series of festive themed initiatives were organised across all of Quartzelec’s UK sites.

With foodbank collection points created at some locations taking essential food and hygiene items, to others who focussed on festive and seasonal hampers including chocolate selection boxes – all were kindly donated, gratefully received and collaboratively delivered to local food bank operations. The Quartzelec teams organised quizzes and held festive lunches all to encourage donations to their local charity foodbank hubs.

With the Christmas initiatives being so successful, our people are keen to continue to support and there are already plans in place for a number of initiatives to be rolled out over the coming months.
