The Opportunity
As the Senior Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operational, financial, customer, and employee strategy within your business unit. You’ll ensure a continuous pipeline of work through client development and effective project management, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll take commercial responsibility for the High Voltage and Low Voltage project profit centres—owning P&L performance, budgets, cash flow, and forecasting. You’ll be a key contributor to shaping business strategy, growing our client base, and ensuring our delivery remains first-class.
Key Responsibilities…
Lead and manage project teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Take full ownership of P&L, budgets, forecasting, and commercial performance.
Drive business development, identifying and securing new opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships.
Ensure projects are delivered right first time, safely and to the highest quality standards.
Interpret and manage contracts effectively with support from the commercial team.
Promote a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Lead all HR activities within the unit—coaching, mentoring, and developing your teams.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and HV/LV safety rules.
Contribute to the overall success of the business unit through innovation and collaboration.

Your skills and experiences:
Proven experience managing teams within an engineering or construction environment.
Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of P&L and budget control.
Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
In-depth knowledge of the HV/LV electrical engineering services industry
Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar managerial role
Higher qualification in Electrical Engineering (desirable).
SMSTS and Health & Safety for Managers certification.
