We are currently seeking a full-time Machinist to join our workshop team, responsible for executing a variety of machining tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

We are looking for a Machinist to be part of the workshop team, carrying out a range of machining activities and should be able to :-

• Proficient in programming and operating lathes, milling machines, and boring machines
• Utilising manual milling machines, grinders, lathes, and boring machinery to achieve precise outcomes
• Capable of executing complex turning and welding operations on pump bearings and shafts with meticulous attention to detail
• Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of daily and weekly documentation
• Committed to delivering exceptional standards of internal customer service

The successful applicant will possess:

• Possess a full driving licence would be an advantage
• Previous experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering setting
• Has demonstrable experience programming and operating lathes, milling and boring machines
• A qualification in C&G/NVQ Mechanical Engineering is highly desirable
• It is imperative to demonstrate a methodical and precise approach while diligently documenting observations and generating reports throughout the disassembly process
