After the success of securing a significant contract, we are actively seeking skilled Cable Jointers to join our growing team. This position will be managed from our Manchester office, where we provide services to our esteemed client Electricity Northwest across the Network.

Reporting to a Contracts Manager, this role encompasses considerable onsite responsibilities and will require the successful candidate to:

• Demonstrate familiarity with ENWL Cable Jointing techniques (LV)
• Possess experience working with PILC and plastic cables
• Be adept in handling various types of cut-outs
• Exhibit a strong commitment to achieving customer targets

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

• ENWL Authorisations for LV cable jointing and LV cut-outs; SPEN authorisations are advantageous but not mandatory
• Proven experience and competence in cable jointing and safety practices (LV)
• Effective leadership capabilities, demonstrated through strong communication, work coordination, and a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
• Proficiency in conducting Risk Assessments and a clear understanding of Method Statements and safe operational procedures
• Desirable NRSWA qualifications

Given the nature of this role, possession of a full UK Driving Licence is essential. Teams of two will collaborate and utilise a commercial van for work purposes.
